Learn the why

Each habit is paired with a 30–60 second micro-lesson explaining the hormonal and energy mechanism behind it.

Do one small thing

One to three habits at a time. Check them off daily. Miss a day and your streak survives, by design.

Understand your pattern

Your coach remembers your goal, your habits and your last week, and sends one useful nudge a day.

CORTISOL

Why are you not losing weight, even though you eat less?

The answer is one hormone most people forget: cortisol, your stress hormone.

When cortisol stays too high for too long, your body reads it as danger. The result: fat stored around your belly, hunger for sugar and starch, trouble sleeping and energy that never quite comes back, no matter how hard you try.

Your willpower is not failing. Your hormones are set to survival.

This is the programme that fills in those three steps

Learn the why

You learn what cortisol does to fat loss, energy and your health, and why eating less does nothing as long as your body is set to survival. One lesson a day, one minute.

Do one small thing

One small, doable cortisol-lowering task a day. No diet, no training schedule: something of two minutes that hangs on a moment you already have.

Understand your pattern

With CBT you learn to recognise your own stress triggers: which moment, which thought, which behaviour. That is where the circle breaks, not at the fridge.

Sleeping badly, then dragging yourself through the day

Craving sweet and fatty food, even when you do not want to

Losing weight does not work, not even on less food

What high cortisol does to your body

  • Your body stores energy as fat sooner, belly first, because cortisol drives insulin up and slows fat burning.
  • Building muscle slows down. Cortisol breaks muscle down for fuel, and that lowers your metabolism.
  • Sleep gets worse. High cortisol in the evening blocks the deep recovery sleep that repairs your hormones.
  • Cravings for fat and sugar go up. That is not a lack of discipline, it is a biological stress response.
  • Lower your cortisol structurally and your body switches back to burning fat: sleep improves, cravings settle down.

What lower cortisol gets you

  • Fat loss becomes possible again: less cortisol means less pressure on insulin and less muscle broken down for fuel.
  • Deeper, quieter nights. Sleep is exactly where cortisol is supposed to come down, and where your hormones do their repairs.
  • Less emotional eating. When the stress response settles, the craving for sweet and fatty food that comes with it settles too.
  • More steady energy through the day, and less of the pressure that keeps weighing on your mood and your recovery.

No promises about kilos or weeks: how fast your body answers differs per person. What the programme gives you is the direction and the daily repetition.

Three phases, twelve weeks

Phase 1 · week 1–4: calming your nervous system

Small, repeatable signals that teach your body the danger is over.

Phase 2 · week 5–8: teaching your body to recover

Recovery on top: sleep, rhythm and meals that bring your hormonal balance back.

Phase 3 · week 9–12: this becomes who you are

No new tasks, just smarter versions of what you already do. It becomes your normal.

A phase only opens once the one before it is genuinely done. Running ahead is exactly what goes wrong otherwise.

Built on CBT

A list of tips does not lower cortisol. So the programme does not only change your behaviour, it changes the thought underneath it: you learn to notice the thought that starts the stress response, question it, and choose something else. That is why it holds when the busy week comes back. It has become a habit instead of a temporary fix.

What is CBT? CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. It is one of the best-researched ways to change behaviour for good, and the core of it is surprisingly simple: your thoughts, your feelings and your behaviour are attached to each…
